The Auburn City Council meets at 7:30 p.m. Monday to discuss possible annexation of Pacific.

The town of 6,600 is set to lose its insurance at the end of the year. Many blame the embattled mayor, Cy Sun, for the town's problems.

Pacific's City Council will also meet Monday night starting at 6:30.

While there is no financial gain for auburn to annex, city leaders say with shared roads and commerce, there is a vested interest.
