Alaska Airlines resumed normal operations Tuesday after a network outage affected thouands of travelers across the country.

After a Sprint fiber optic outage, the airline had to cancel 78 flights, stranding almost 7,000 passengers.

Most Sea-Tac Airport passengers were booked onto flights Monday, but a few ended up spending the night in the airport.

Alaska Airlines is offering refunds to passengers whose flights were impacted Monday and Tuesday.
