Police are searching for a man who exposed himself to three girls on a playground in West Seattle on Wednesday.

Police say at about 11:40 a.m., officers responded to Holy Rosary School in the 4100 block of 42nd Avenue SW for reports of a suspicious man exposing himself to school children.

Police say three 14-year-old girls told a recess monitor that a strange man had been watching them from his vehicle. They said they first noticed the man was parked on 41st Avenue SW. As he watched the girls, he held a cell phone near his face as if he was taking pictures or videotaping them.

The girls thought he was suspicious so they moved to another part of the playground. The suspect then repositioned his car to be closer to the girls.

When the girls saw that the man was naked from the waist down, they ran to notify the recess monitor. The suspect drove away westbound on SW Dakota Street.

The suspect was gone when officers arrived on the scene.

A similar incident happened at the school September 9th.

Three nine-year-old girls were approached by a man under the same circumstances, only he drove a truck.

It makes me pretty nervous, I have older teenages and was going to one was going to walk to the YMCA from school and I told him no. I wanted to give him a ride, said Diane Ball, who lives nearby.

A letter went home to parents Wednesday about the incident.

Police say the suspect from last week is in his mid to late 20's, with short dark hair, a heavy build and possibly facial hair.

No details yet on the flasher from this latest incident.

Anyone with information is asked to call 911 or Seattle Police.
