Two people were hurt in a rollover crash in downtown Seattle crash on Sunday.

The crash occurred at 4th and Virginia. A female driver and male passenger had to be rescued by firefighters.

A ladder crew stabilized the SUV so firefighters could cut the roof off. The steering column had to be removed so the driver could be rescued.

Both people were taken to Harborview Medical Center. The woman was in serious condition; the man in stable condition.

A third person in a second car declined medical attention.

Police are investigating speed as the cause of the crash.
