Once a year, there's a fun event packed with activities, information and resources for families with loved ones, young and old, on the Autism spectrum.

Autism Day Washingtonis now in its 12th year, and shows no sign of slowing down. The event, coming up in a few short weeks, boasts dozens of service providers and organizations ready with fun activities and helpful information. Autism Day Washington's Executive Director, Lynne Banki, joined Margaret to talk more about the event, which is free to families, service providers and vendors, thanks to donations and support by advertisers and sponsors.

Three service providers who will be at Autism Day Washington demonstrated how their business helps people who are on the Autism spectrum: Music therapist Anne Carlson from Harmony Music Studio NW; Art therapist Mineko Takada-Dill from Studio Mene and adaptive yoga instructor Mollie Harrigan from Outdoors for All.

Autism Day Washington takes place Saturday, August 11th at Jubilee Farm in Carnation. For more information, click here.
