For the month of June the Pacific Science Center has been hosting the Seattle Science Festival to mark the 50th year of the World's Fair. There are contests to build martian habitats, rubix cube competitions and appearances from astronauts.

The Seattle Science Festival s Luminaries Series integrates science and technology with the arts to enhance scientific literacy in our community and inspire the next generation of scientists and engineers.

The Seattle Science Festival Luminaries Series will illuminate this inspiring topic in its 'Luminaries of Space' event at the Museum of Flight on Friday (tomorrow) June 22 at 8 p.m.

Museum of Flight s new 15,500-square-foot Space Gallery features exhibits that emphasize stories from the visionaries, designers, pilots, and crews of the Space Shuttle and are designed to educate and inspire all ages.

Limited seats are still available. General admission and VIP tickets are now on sale. VIP tickets include a reception with the luminaries on the evening of the event. Ticket prices range from $10- $125.

Tickets can be purchased online at or by calling (206) 443-2844.
