SEATTLE -- Police arrested a man today outside a Seattle gas station on Friday afternoon after he allegedly carjacked one pickup, crashed it and tried to jack another.

Nobody was injured in the skirmish which began around 1:30 this afternoon when the suspect allegedly threatened the driver of the pick up truck with a gun and stole the truck.

Police say their next call came from the intersection of East Marginal Way South and Boeing Access Rd. where the stolen pickup slammed into the back of an SUV at a stoplight.

Witness say the suspect then ran to a gas station and tried to take another vehicle but was tackled by police.

Officers say they did not find a gun and believe the suspect was using an umbrella wrapped in a t-shirt to threaten victims.
