A second lawsuit has been filed to block the City of Seattle and King County from carrying out an arena plan.

A Chris Hansen-led investor group wants to finance a $490 million sports arena in SODO.

The suit, filed in King County Superior Court, alleges the arrangement, which calls for $200 million in public money to be repaid through arena revenue, violates the terms of Initiative 91.

The measure, approved by Seattle voters in 2006, said the city must make a profit on any investment in a sports facility.

One of the plaintiffs in the suit is Mark Baerwaldt, co-chair and co-founder of Citizens For More Important Things and a drafter and sponsor of I-91.
