The Society of Professional Engineering Employees in Aerospace (SPEEA), representing 23,000 engineers and technical workers, is currently in contract negotiations with Boeing.

SPEEAsaidin its charges that Boeing violated the National Labor Relations Act, which says companies cannot interfere with union activities.

Taking video of employees on a lunchtime march is nothing more than intimidation and harassment, said Ray Goforth, SPEEA executive director, in a press release. The company has no legitimate reason to confiscate cameras and delete photos.

Boeing said it had not seen the complaints, so it can t comment. But, the company said photography is not allowed on its property without a camera pass.

Both sides return to the negotiating table Wednesday. SPEEA already shot down Boeing s initial offer. Since then, Boeing made three concessions.

The company removed language that members claimed would take medical coverage away from retirees. Boeing also said it will maintain long-term disability and life insurance from employees on active military leave.

Boeing also said it will not deduct paycheck contributions for dental coverage.
