Washington state gubernatorial candidates Jay Inslee and Rob McKenna have agreed to a KING 5 News - The Seattle Times debate on Tuesday, October 16.

The debate will be held in the KING 5 studios and will be televised live from 8-9 p.m., immediately following the second presidential debate.

The McKenna-Inslee debate will be streamed live on, will air live statewide on NWCN, and will be carried by other television and radio partners, assuring the widest possible audience for this important political event.

Oct. 16 is three weeks before the Nov. 6 general election and a few days before ballots are mailed to Washington voters.
