TACOMA, Wash. (AP) -- Junior Sefo Liufau scored 20 points and grabbed a game-high 22 rebounds to go with seven assists to lead Tacoma's Bellarmine Prep to a 66-50 quarterfinal win over Mount Rainier Thursday at the state 4A boys basketball tournament at the Tacoma Dome.

The 6-foot-4 Liufau was 9-of-12 from the field to lead the Lions (24-3), who shot nearly 60 percent from the field (29-of-49) as a team. Isaiah Flynn led Bellarmine Prep with 22 points, hitting on 9-of-12 shots from the field.

Lucas Meikle, a 6-foot-8 junior, scored 17 and had nine rebounds for the winners.

The Rams (18-11) got 15 points from Malik Rodgers, Adrian Davis scored 13 and Caden Rowland 10. Mount Rainier shot just 36 percent from the field (19-of-52) and was outrebounded by the Lions 39-19.

It was the second time in two weeks that Bellarmine Prep had beaten Mount Rainier.
