Lace up your sneakers and ditch your desk at work for at least thirty minutes today. It is National Walking Day sponsored by the American Heart Association.

Americans are encouraged to spend at least 30 minutes of their day walking briskly. Physical activity is critical to being healthy, but less than 50 percent of adults get enough daily exercise.

Join KING 5 and the downtown community for a free walk on April 3.
