If you plan on using I-5 in Seattle on weekends in the coming months you can expect lots of closures.

The Washington State Department of Transportation is planning up to 20 weekend closers between January and April so crews can work on four different projects.

Crews will be replacing bridge expansion joints and grinding and smoothing lanes on the 50-year-old interstate.

The projects will cost a combine $30 million.
