Every so often, we get a glimpse of baseball history in the making. Yesterday - history took place right here at Safeco Field, when Felix Hernandez pitched the team's first perfect game in a one-to-nothing win over Tampa. He struck out twelve players on his way to the 23rd perfect game in major league history.

Among those covering the game was News Tribune Mariners columnist Larry LaRue, whose unique take on baseball is chronicled in his new book, Major League Encounters. Larry joined Margaret to talk about King Felix and share some of the unique and personal stories from his book.
