Seattle police are searching for a possible serial flasher who exposes himself to children.

Two incidents were reported Tuesday in West Seattle. One was outside Westside School, the other near 45th Avenue SW and SW Andover Street.

On Wednesday, a line of concerned parents came to pick up their kids at Westside, all of them aware of what had happened. Jose Manuel Ordonez was among several parents who received an email from the school about a man exposing himself to students.

He parked his car close to the playground and then he started touching himself, looking at a couple of girls, said Ordonez, parent.

Several middle school girls told teachers what they saw near the playground. In the letter to parents, the school said the man never got out of his car and a fence separated him from the children.

Seattle police said about an hour later and a few miles away, two 13-year-old girls also saw a man inside his car pleasuring himself.

It's scary. It's scary for the kids, said another parent.

Last month, there were several reports of flashers, one again outside of Westside School. It's not clear if it's the same man exposing himself.

It's hard for us to hear somebody using our kids to pleasure himself, said Ordonez.

As a precaution, other schools in West Seattle have also sent out warning letters, which has parents on alert.

I will ask what we can do to prevent this and catch the guy, said Ordonez.

In both of Tuesday's incidents, the suspect description is similar: a white male in his 30s with a partial beard or scruffy appearance. He was driving a black four-door sedan.

If you have any information about the incidents or the suspect, you are encouraged to contact Seattle police.
