More than 150,000 people in Washington State are living with Alzheimer s or Dementia and it s the third leading cause of death in our state. Ann Hunt s husband, Jim, passed away two years ago, after battling Alzheimer s for years. Ann says Jim was the adventurous one in their family. Now she is looking to take a few risks of her own to help raise awareness of Alzheimer s and have fun along the way. Ann visits New Day with Justine Stevens, who helped organize the annual Walk to End Alzheimer s , to share more about the event and how the money raised goes to help various programs and families.
