With increasing costs for college education, parents need to plan ahead for their children. In Monday's Parent to Parent, Jasen Biro from Edward Jones talks about the reality of tuition prices and what parents can do now.

For a child born today, Biro estimates the cost of attending the University of Washington to be $272,000, including room and board. Parents have a number of options for saving for college, including custodial accounts, 529 plans, and GET credits.
