The central Washington wildfires have wiped out many people's lives, but sometimes asking for help is hard. The need, like it was in the Oso landslide, is for gas cards and other items that help keep people healthy and safe. Jesse shares the story of Lucy Baker of Pateros, an asthma sufferer impacted by the wildfires.

If you would like to give to the Methow Valley residents impacted by the fire, you can give to:

Victims Assitance Fund
c/o Okanogan Community Action
P.O. Box 1067
Okanogan, WA 98840

Okanogan County Community Action Council website:

Indicate Fire Victims on checks and online

Other items needed are batteries, gas cans, extension chords, locks and chains (because people now are stealing generators).
