Oral health is essential to overall health in adults and children. Over the past several months, we've shared The Mighty Mouth campaign's efforts to let everyone know how to maintain good oral health from birth. Today, Dr. Ron Inge, Dental Director for Delta Dental of Washington, joined host Margaret Larson to talk about the link between oral health and overall fitness. Dr. Inge discussed the importance of flossing, healthy snacking and regular oral health checkups. He also shared small steps people can take right now to set themselves on course for a healthier mouth, like flossing just two days a week to start, then gradually adding more days until you're flossing every day.
