The tables may look full at The Cedar Stump Restaurant in Arlington, but for owner Tammy Brown, it just feels emptier than it should.
There's a family that's missing, she said. It's a husband and wife and two children - one seven, one's ten. They were home I guess and we can't get a hold of them. So we pray they're still alive, but at this point...we just keep praying.
But Tammy's not one to just pray. She donated everything the restaurant made from 3pm-10pm last week to a victims relief fund for Oso landslide victims.
I can't go out there and hunt for them, which I would love to do. So the only thing I can think of is help with the doctor bills for the ones that can't afford them right now, said Brown.
This is how it's done in the country - you do what you can for each other.
We're just a family community, said Brown.
