A new report shows up to one out of five children in the U.S. suffers from a mental disorder.

According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, ADHD is the most common mental health issue diagnosed in children, followed by behavioral problems and anxiety.

Over four percent of teens have been diagnosed with a drug or alcohol dependence problem.

Researchers say these are not minor issues. Children with these disorders are dealing with emotions and behaviors that significantly impact their day-to-day lives.
