BELLEVUE, Wash. -- Solomon Metalwala's attorney Clay Terry told KING 5 News that he can't find anyone who saw two-year-old Sky Metalwala in the six months prior to Nov. 6, the day the boy's mother reported him missing.
Terry made a public plea Wednesday night for information to help build a timeline in the case. Terry also said he plans to send a letter to local doctors and pediatricians in the area asking if any has provided treatment to Sky or his older sister, Maile, in the months between May and November.
Bellevue Police acknowledged meeting with Terry today, but could not verify the six month claim.
Sky's mother, Julia Biryukova, reported her son missing on Nov. 6. She said she left the boy in a car at the side of the road after running out of gas. Police later tested the car and found that it had plenty of gas in the tank and no other apparent mechanical problems.
Biryukova has not been seen in public since Sky's disappearance. Though police have said openly that they are not satisfied with the level of cooperation they are receiving from her, they have not named her as a suspect.
Sky and Maile Metalwala were caught in a prolonged divorce and custody fight at the time Sky was reported missing.
