A new documentary fromSeattle-based filmmaker,Eliaichi Kimaro, called A Lot Like You takes viewers through her personal journey of self-discovery and trying to break a life-long cycle of violence. Acclaimed Northwest musician, Pete Droge, composed original music for the film and was so moved byEliaichi's story that he's also released a soundtrack inspired by the movie.

Pete performs the title song A Lot LikeYou, and Eliaichi joins the show to discuss her documentary.

A Lot Like Youmakes its world premiereat the Seattle International Film Festival onMay 24th at 7:00pm at the Harvard Exit theatre. It screens again on June 12th at 1:00pm at the Admiral Theatre in West Seattle. For ticket information please click here
