A West Seattle man is building a growing business using a simple recipe handed down by his grandmother, a strong woman who helped several children, then grandchildren flee Somalia with hopes of better lives in the US. Abdul Mohamud made his grandmother's East African salsa for friends, who loved it and encouraged him to sell to the public. With their help and support from several local businesses, Doolie's Hot Sauce was born. Abdul (aka Doolie ) joined Margaret to share the special story behind the sauce, and showcase several ways to use it to spice up nearly every type of meal.
