Thunder and lightning put on a show all over the Puget Sound region Friday and more storms popped up Saturday.

Lighting was spotted on the Olympic Peninsula near Port Angeles, but most of the action was in Eastern Washington

KING 5's Lisa Van Cise says the area of low pressure responsible for Friday's unstable weather will slowly slide southward through the day. This will reduce the instability of the atmosphere and in turn reduce the potential for thunder showers.

Highsin and near the Puget Sound area shouldbe mostly in the mid 70s to low 80s. It will be cooler along the shorelines. Latest Forecast

On Sunday we'll get brushed by another system but after that we'll be drying out, said Van Cise.

Doppler Radar showed lightning strikes all across the region on Friday.

Here is a YouTube video of the lightning from Skunk Bay on the northern edge of the Kitsap Peninsula.
