A Shoreline woman accused of stabbing her ex-boyfriend and abducting the couple's two daughters turned herself into police Monday, according to King County Sheriff's detectives.
Doreen Starrish, 28, turned herself into the downtown Seattle Police station at 12:08 a.m. She was booked into the King County Jail on first degree domestic violence assault charges. Starrish is being held on $1 million bail.
The victim Starrish is accused of stabbing died over the weekend from his injuries. Aaron Smith had been hospitalized at Harborview Medical Center since Thursday.
After Smith was found critically injured at the couple's Shoreline home, an Amber Alert was issued for the two girls, 7 and 3.
It was canceled later that evening when the children were located at their grandmother's house. Police say Starrish told her children not to talk to police.
