TACOMA, Wash. -- Senior forward Jadea Brundidge scored 12 points and Jazmin Horne scored nine points and grabbed five rebounds, and Franklin beat Cleveland 51-37 on Friday in the Class 3A girls semifinals.

The Quakers (24-3) extended their winning streak to 20 games, jumping to a 12-6 lead after one quarter and leading the rest of the way. Nine Franklin players scored. Janee Lewis and Kayla Ivy added seven each for the winners. Brundige had a team-high six rebounds.

The Eagles (21-7), who won the 3A title in 2010, shot just 23 percent from the field (10 of 43) and turned the ball over 25 times. Myzhanique Ladd led Cleveland with 12 points. Donniesha Webber scored six points and had a team-high nine rebounds.

The Quakers are trying to win their first 3A title. They've played in the championship twice.
