Police in Arlington are looking for the suspect in a bank robbery.

It happened at the Key Bank on Smokey Point Drive just after noon Saturday.

The suspect entered the bank, displayed a large frame pistol and demanded money, several times threatening to shoot the tellers while aiming the firearm at them.

The suspect then fled the bank with an undisclosed amount of money.

The suspect is described as male, approximately 5'8 to 5'9 with a slender build. He was wearing a light blue or gray zip-up hooded sweatshirt with the hood up, blue jeans with light fading on the front and yellow stitching on the back pockets, and dark or black shoes. The suspect was wearing a black ski mask, scarf or cloth over his face with only the eyes cut out. He was wearing black gloves and carrying a black backpack.

The suspect was described as speaking in short, clipped sentences, described as possibly being of an Asian accent.

Police say video surveillance footage from nearby cameras show a man matching the suspect's description arriving in the area on a bicycle about 30 minutes before the robbery. The suspect was seen riding around before committing the robbery. Surveillance footage showed the suspect fleeing the scene in a northbound direction on the bicycle immediately after the robbery.
