Gig Harbor Police are requesting the public's help in locating two people they say are responsible for check fraud and allegedly stealing over $20,000.

On Sept. 23, the suspects reportedly prowled a vehicle in the Gig Harbor YMCA parking lot. They stole credit cards and checks from the vehicle. They then used the stolen checks to deposit and withdraw large sums of money at five Key Bank locations in King and Pierce counties.

The first suspect appears to be a while male in his 30s with short brown hair and a tattoo on the left side of his neck. The other suspect appears to be a white female in her 20s with long brown hair. Both were seen in a gold Chevrolet Tahoe that appeared fairly new.
