Washington's finest wines take center stage for three days of celebration which brings together wine makers and wine enthusiasts. The 26th Annual Auction of Washington Wine weekend takes place Thursday, August 15 through Saturday, August 17 with a number of activities, capped off by a stunning gala dinner and auction at Chateau Ste. Michelle Winery in Woodinville. Bob Betz, founder of Betz Family Winery and co-chair of the event, joined guest host Meeghan Black to talk more about the event's activities, including the fun and popular picnic and barrel auction. Chef David Buchanan from Blackfish at Tulalip Resort rounded out the segment by showcasing some of the dishes he and his fellow chefs at Tulalip are preparing for the picnic.
The Auction of Washington Wine weekend benefits Seattle Children's Hospital's Uncompensated Care Fund and Washington State University's Viticulture & Enology Program.
