A cup of coffee a day could help keep liver cancer away.
Researchers studied the health records of nearly 180-thousand adults and determined that daily coffee-drinkers were less likely to get liver cancer. Those who drank one cup of coffee per day had a 29-percent lower risk of liver cancer compared to people who drank six or fewer cups a week.
The 18-year study also revealed that coffee-drinkers who consume four cups a day had a 42-percent lower risk.
Similarly, a previous study published in the journal Clinical Gastroenterology and Hepatology concluded that drinking more than three cups of java per day might cut the risk of liver cancer in half.
