MARYSVILLE, Wash. Below freezing temperatures are blamed for a water main break that left 100 homes without water overnight.

It happened at 67th Avenue Northeast and 88th Place.

Repair crews worked for hours to jackhammer their way to the broken pipe.

The crew chief says the break is most likely weather related. Temperatures in Marysville were in the low 20 s.

Crew members were able to seal the large crack by 6:30 a.m. Water was expected to be turned back on shortly thereafter.
