TACOMA, Wash. -- Senior guard Heather Corral scored 18 points and was 4 of 6 from 3-point range to lead Prairie to a 55-41 semifinal win over University on Friday in the Class 3A girls basketball tournament.

The Falcons (26-1) will try to add yet another title to their already full case. Prairie has five state titles, one in 3A and four in 4A. This is their 15th straight appearance at state.

Corral, who will play at Washington next year, was 7 of 11 shooting overall and had six rebounds and three assists. Megan Lindsley and Cori Woodward scored 12 each for the winners.

The Titans (17-8) from Spokane will play for third place. They never led and trailed by as many as 23 points. Hallie Gennett led the Titans with 14 points and Kayleigh Valley scored 11.
