We're getting our first look at surveillance video from the minutes before Neighbours night club on Seattle's Capitol Hill was set on fire.

The club released the video to KING5 News. The video shows a man walking through some some sort of container.

He passes several surveiilance cameras through crowds of customers.

Just after midnight on New Year's Eve while nearly 700 people crammed into Neighbours for their popular celebration, customers noticed the staircase at the iconic gay club was on fire. Management later discovered a gasoline container near the stairs. No one was injured.

Police are still looking for the person who started the fire. There is a $10,000 reward for information leading to an arrest.

Neighbours released the surveillance video against the recommendation of police, citing a desire to help expedite the process of finding the suspect.

Unfortunately, their actions have the potential to hurt the case and hinder the apprehension of the suspect, said SPDSpokesman Jeff Kappel.

Anyone with information should call SPDArson Bomb Unit at (206) 684-8980.
