King County prosecutors on Friday filed vehicular homicide charges against a 25-year-old man suspected of hitting and killing another driver on State Route 520 Thursday.

Michael Anthony Robertson remains hospitalized in stable condition, but will be booked into jail after he is released.

Prosecutors say he was drunk when he got onto 520 going the wrong way.

Morgan Williams died in the head-on collision.

Court documents say Robertson entered the 520 bridge from Seattle to drive eastbound toward Bellevue, but U-turned and began accelerating the wrong-way back to Seattle.

The documents say Robertson was driving 100 miles per hour the wrong way under the Montlake Street overpass, had an open nearly empty bottle of whisky in the vehicle, and admitted to police he had been drinking, but claimed he had two drinks, I think I was drugged.

A toxicology test done on Robertson is expected to show his alcohol blood content was significantly above the limit of .08g/100mL.

Robertson is being held on $1 million bail and is scheduled to appear in court April 18.

Meanwhile, grief counselors are now working with Williams family and her co-workers at Eddie Bauer.
