Just before 3:00 a.m. Friday, Seattle Fire and Police responded to a head-on fatal collision involving two vehicles in South Seattle. It happened in the5300 block of 4th Avenue South.

Preliminary investigation indicates a white Ford Ranger was driving northbound on 4th Avenue South and a burgundy Toyota Camry was traveling southbound when the two cars collided.

The collision sent the driver of the Ranger to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.The driver of the Camry died at the scene. Authorities believe the driver of the Camry was a male in his 20 s.
