SeaTac's ballot initiative that would establish a $15 minimum wage expanded its lead slightly, from a 19-vote advantage last night to a 53-vote margin tonight.

The lead for the yes side on election night was quite a big larger at 261 votes.

Over 5,600 votes have been counted, with 2,837 yes votes and 2,784 no votes.

The current minimum wage in Washington is $9.19, the highest in the country and well above the federal minimum wage of $7.25 an hour.
