Bald eagles are a common sight in the rich Fir Island agricultural land of Skagit County.

Now we're getting the view of one pair busy rebuilding their nest for winter.

Photographer Stu Davidson has been tracking the mated pair for some time and said that they lost their previous nest to a wind storm the winter before last.

Friday, Davidson captured several great shots of the birds carefully rebuilding their home.

Bald eagles maintain the same breeding pair year after year, and can lay eggs in either winter or spring.
