This six-stage music party will go on for three days in one of Seattle's liveliest neighborhoods, Capitol Hill. Performers this year include The Flaming Lips, Dirty Projectors, Pickwick, Hey Marseilles, Rose Windows and many other local and national acts.
This is a first-time festival in Carnation, Wash. offering a large roster of acoustic and mood music concerts in the woods. Headliners include The Helio Sequence, Fruit Bats, Ivan &Alyosha and more. The festival is on Friday and Saturday at Tolt-MacDonald Park and Campground.
Bellevue hosts a three-part art fair Friday through Sunday this weekend. There will be the Bellevue Festival of the Arts, a juried arts and crafts fair near Cost Plus in downtown Bellevue; the Bellevue Art Museum ArtsFair, which includes performances, art activities and free admission to the museum; and the 6th Street Fair, which is run by the Downtown Bellevue Association.
