Thermidor was the Prevention Training Director for World Concern's HIV programs. She also helped to develop curricula for the Prevention program and the Palliative Care program in Haiti.

In a press release, the organization said She exemplified leadership in her ability to effectively prepare a multitude of staff to deliver messages on HIV prevention to youth. She was an intelligent, creative, and invaluable member of the World Concern family.

World Concern has worked in Haiti since 1978. Their work with the poor includes small business development, agriculture and disaster response.
