The University of Mississippi Medical Center reports the following: Laboratory analysis of chicken nuggets from two major fast-food chains found they contained between 40 and 50 percent meat, the remainder being fat, skin, connective tissue, blood vessels, nerves and bone fragments.

The research was published online by the American Journal of Medicine. The two fast-food chains in question are not named.
