Apple reportedly will launch an iPhone trade-in program in stores this month.

The new program is meant to encourage users to upgrade to the iPhone 5 and turn in older models, Bloomberg reported on Friday.

Apple will offer money for the used phones, refurbish them and sell them in emerging markets, Bloomberg said.

AT&T currently pays around $200 for working iPhone 4s.
