Bellevue Fire and Police department Chaplain Mike Ryan administered CPR and saved a man who was without a pulse while out to lunch Thursday, April 25th.

Ryan, who has volunteered with BFD for seven years, put his skills to use at the The King and I when another diner collapsed.

According to the Bellevue Fire Facebook page, when aid arrived just minutes later, a shock was used to bring back the man's pulse.

The man told crews he was fine and asked to be left at the restaurant, but said he would get a checkup at Overlake.
