The Mercer Island home of former Seattle SuperSonic Kevin Durant has been sold after nearly two years on the market.

Seattlepi.com reports the home was sold for $2,436,000, about $500,000 less than the initial listing back in March 2011.

Durant bought the home when it was under construction in 2007, but no longer needed it after the Sonics moved to Oklahoma City in 2008.

The nearly 6,000 square foot home has five bedrooms and 5.75 bathrooms. Some of its features include a marble entry foyer, home theater with risers and leather chairs and an automatic generator in case the power goes out.
