A micro-earthquake hit central Washington early Wednesday morning.

The magnitude 2.1 quake struck about 8 miles west-southwest of Entiat at about 2:38 a.m.

The small quake was about two-tenths of a mile deep. It was not recorded on the KING 5 seismograph in Seattle, some 85 miles away.

There have been no reports of damage or injuries.
