The top-seeded Seahawks beat New Orleans 23-15 on Saturday to advance to the NFC championship game for the second time in franchise history. They will host San Francisco next Sunday at 3:30 p.m. at CenturyLink Field.
Tickets went on sale Monday at 10 a.m. and were sold out quickly. There's is no official word on how soon the tickets were gone.
According to the Seahawks website, tickets were available to fans with a billing address in WA, OR, MT, ID, AK, HI and the Canadian provinces of British Columbia and Alberta. Residents of California will not be able to purchase tickets.
The buyer's location is determined by the billing address.
Fans could purchase tickets through Seahawks.com or by calling Ticketmaster at 800-745-3000. All NFC Championship Game tickets will be distributed via Ticketmaster's TicketFast online printing.
Tickets for the Seahawks/New Orleans game sold out in less than 30 minutes.
There were similar restrictions on tickets for the AFCChampionship. For the matchup between Denver and New England tickets will be available to those with a billing address in the Rocky Mountain region. That area includes Colorado, NewMexico, Utah, Wyoming, Nebraska, Montana, South Dakota and Western Kansa.
