Police are investigating four drive-by shootings that occurred in south Seattle early Sunday. Nobody was hurt in any of the shootings, but more than 60 rounds were fired in all.

In one incident, ateenage girl was getting ready for bed in her home when someone fired several shots through the bedroom window and into other areas of the house.

The window shattered and [glass] hit me, so my reaction is to duck, the girl told KING 5 News. I just waited a few seconds and I heard a few bullets again.

After going through the wall, some bullets continued through drapes and windows on the other side of the house.

One bullet narrowly missed the girl, who ducked down. Another bullet was stopped by the window sill, preventing it from going through the dresser the girl was hiding behind.

The girl's family cannot understand why anyone would target their home. No one who currently lives there is tied to gangs or criminal activity, they said. However, a relative who lived there did have ties to a couple other homes that were hit by drive-by shootings.

Officers discovered that six shots were fired through the victim's bedroom window, and approximately five other shots were fired in other areas on the east side of the house.

Seattle Police say a shooter or shooter fired more than 30 rounds in drive-by shootings at two South Seattle homes early Sunday.

Just after 3 a.m., shots were fired at a home the 4600 block of S. Holden St and another home in the 4800 block of Columbian Drive S. Vehicles were also shot up with a mixture of rifle and handgun rounds.

Both addresses house gang members, police say. Detectives from the Gang Unit will conduct the follow-up for both incidents.

And at about 1 a.m., a black vehicle, possibly an Acura Integra, occupied by two Asian males, slowly drove by a home in the 4600 block of S. Frontenac St and multiple shots were fired at the residence and at cars parked outside.

Multiple family members were sleeping in the residence at the time, but no one was hurt.

Patrol Officers collected more than 20 bullet casings from the street. Police say the house has been shot at several times before and two members of the household are affiliated street gangs.
