SEATTLE -- Two swimmers were rescued from Green Lake Thursday evening.

Seattle Fire and Seattle Police crews responded to a report of a water rescue around 9:30p along E. Greenlake Way N.

Crews pulled out one victim, a 26-year-old man, who had been in the water for approximately 30 minutes. The second victim was also located approximately ten minutes later. Both were unconcious and unresponsive. They were taken Harborview Medical Center, where one of the men died in the emergency room. The other man is in critical condition.
