Heather Graf is an award winning reporter who joined the KING 5 team in January of 2013.

She's thrilled to be working at a station she's admired for years, and beside some of the best photojournalists in the business.

Heather comes to us from Nashville, Tennessee, where she spent two years working at WTVF.

During her time there, Heather's work was honored with three Emmy awards for spot news and feature reporting.

She's also won three regional Edward R. Murrow Awards, including one for writing in 2013.

Heather was just 11 years old when she stepped into a newsroom for the first time, while touring a television station in her hometown of Charleston, South Carolina. She knew then she'd found her life's work.

Her career has included stops at WLOS in Asheville, North Carolina, WMGT in Macon, Georgia, and WTEV in Jacksonville, Florida.

Now, this southern girl is ready to make Seattle her home.

When she's not at work, Heather gets back to the beach as much as possible, enjoys spending time with family, spoiling her three-year-old nephew, and is a huge college football fan who always pulls for the SEC.

The thing Heather loves most about reporting is meeting new people - so please send story ideas her way at hgraf@king5.com.
