Emmy award-winner Meg Coyle gets up bright and early to anchor KING 5 Weekend Morning News. Weekdays you can see her work on KING as a general assigment reporter.

Meg joined KING 5 News in October 2000 after spending five years at NWCN. Prior to her return to the Northwest in 1995, she spent two years in Hong Kong reporting and anchoring for CNN International and its local subsidiary. In 1997 she won an Emmy for her series of stories on Hong Kong's return to Chinese rule.

Meg got her start in the business in Yakima after graduating from the University of Washington.

Meg has won two regional Emmy awards for her reporting, one in 1997 and another in 2010.

In her spare time Meg enjoys playing the piano, rock climbing, and spending time with her husband, Michael King of Evening Magazine, and their two daughters.
